Front Line Management and Clear Channel Radio have formed a.p.e. (artist personal experience) radio, a joint venture created to feature the music of established and up-and-coming artists across hundreds of internet radio and digital outlets. Many of the brightest stars in music—performers from both Front Line Management, as well as artists from the industry at large—will produce and host their own a.p.e. channels. Channels from multi-platinum, Grammy-winning hit-makers the Eagles, Christina Aguilera and Weezer will inaugurate the endeavor.
Launching across Clear Channel Radio’s digital network, “iheartradio,” and integrated across each respective specific artist website, a.p.e. radio will comprise artist-hosted channels that allow these artists to build upon their long-standing successes in traditional media, while taking a bold new step in digital content development and distribution. The artist/host will choose the music, and create exclusive content including personal commentary, opinions and anecdotes to foster a deeper connection with their audience.
